See my video for an easy fix when they stop working.
I bought 12 of these because I liked the way they look. More than half of them have stopped coming on at night. When I tore one apart to see if I could repair it I found that the push button on/off switch was the problem, it was exposed to water. I bypassed the switch and the LED's came right on. Unfortunately you have to break the plastic housing to remove the switch. I wish they hadn't used a switch at all but oh well.
