This one is not for me
Perhaps I am being unfair, but as a British literature teacher for 30 years, and thus an avid reader of British history, I am going to pass on this book, even though it was offered free to me. A writer who relies on exclamation points is not making a point. Nor is interspersing historical fact with contemporary slang impressive. I read the first few pages online, and that was enough to convince me that the writing style is overblown and more suited to Twitter than a history book.
