I bought this nearly a year ago... and was extremely happy with it until I was washing the blade and gave it a good shake off over the sink. To my surprise, a large dribble of pure black water came out of it! It was black mold!!! The water gets stuck in the small hole divit in my 3rd picture and the more I shook it, the more black mold came out. I feel so ill because I use this quite often and the worst part is that I cannot unscrew it to clean the inside so therefore, I can't use this blade anymore because of the mold. I am going to call the company to file a complaint and give them awareness of this deadly issue. ***EDIT*** The company was gracious and kind to call me back promptly about it. More in my reply comment below. At the end of the day, I decided to not continue the process for a replacement.
