It is single ply and the paper is so thin that it breaks as you pull it. Not to mention it has no softness at all, it basically feels like you are using news paper. As if that is not bad enough they roll is much narrower not wide enough to fit the holder rod. So it will have an inch of gap on both sides of the roll. I absolutely don't recommend
