I've posted photos of the broom that arrived today. I chose to pay more for a version of this popular type of broom because I thought I could rely on the quality and reputation. But, I was wrong.. I've posted pics of the broom that arrived today to demonstrate. The first pic is how the broom should look/be put together. The second pic shows the frayed and not complete stitching, and the third shows the obvious flaw in this particular item. This large piece is a rough, rather sharp protrusion that also creates a significant hollow, weak spot at the core of this section. I'll use it since I immediately recycled the large box it arrived in--and also discarded my prior broom in today's pick up before noticing the significant problems with this broom. I can't recommend spending $30 for a broom that, upon arrival, appears to show less attention to quality details than much a $15 version. So disappointing.
