Wanting traditional Dry Jerky, not the wet type permeating every type nowadays. Had just tried Hard Times Beef Jerky which was what I was looking for. While waiting for a re-order of that brand decided to also get People's Choice Beef Jerky. Arrived today in a SEALED Ziplock 1lb bag. First slice looked dry and tasted almost like traditional Been Jerky. Was just a tad moist. The Kicker was when I went for my second strip. Surprise ! Refer to 1st image. It was white, round, fuzzy and the size of about a dime on the 2nd strip. As I then as I looked into the bag, noticed more strips with white & fuzzy discoloration. I poured the strips in the bag onto a clean tray. Found numerous strips that had white fuzz (mold/mildew) as small as a spot to strips that were almost covered in this "extra ingredient". Refer to other images. So, since the bag was sealed, either the dehydrating environment was not clean, and/or the meat was not dried/processed properly. 1st time trying People's Choice due to all the "Rave" reviews. Not sure if I may give it another chance. Contacted seller. Awaiting reply.
