I love that this is made in the USA and does not have any chemicals or sealants on it. I let the rack dry between loads and had fans running near the rack so the clothes would dry faster, but it started getting moldy a few weeks into use. The spots were small, so I was able to work around the mold. Unfortunately, the mold got worse. I applied vinegar a few times to try to get rid of the mold. I sent a message about the mold and the vinegar not being effective. I have not received a response about what to do. I tried hanging clothes on hangers while attempting to keep the clothes from touching the mold. Sadly, we have resumed using our dryer. I was excited to find a healthy, eco-friendly option for drying clothes and am disappointed in how this purchase turned out. If you purchase this rack, I recommend hanging as much as you can from hangers hung from this rack. If you have any suggestions about getting rid of the mold without using anything harsh, I would greatly appreciate it!
