I was happy with this item for the first few weeks I had it and used it several times. The last time I used it, however, it caught on fire! I'm unsure if it was a defective item but the flames required the use of our fire extinguisher. Amazon offered to replace the item (no thanks) and then quickly gave me the requested refund instead.
