I had to take the time to give a review in order to counter the inexplicable five stars that this movie has been getting. I love Jennifer Garner, I loved Alias, and John Wick is one of my favorite movies. It didn't have to try very hard for me to like it. Also? I watched the whole movie (ok I switched tabs a few times just for a brief respite during the particularly ridiculous scenes.) This was, hands down, one of the worst movies I have seen. The writing was laughably awful, each scene was more unrealistic than the last, the acting reminded me of a grade-school play, and the characters were two-dimensional. Cut out Jennifer Garner and 90% of the violence and this would have been a particularly bad Lifetime movie. Don't waste your time.
