It wouldn't read my other drives and I had no way of knowing actually what it did copy. It was nothing like I thought it would be and doesn't really hold that many pictures in my opinion...30,000 pictures seems like a lot but it's hard to know if it really copied that many as it has the original amount then the duplicates. I had it skip the duplicates but it was all very confusing. My computer kept freezing up time and time again and I had to shut it down. Unless you are really good with computers and I am not a novice... I wouldn't get this. Just back up your photos on a DVD or CD and that way you know what you are putting on there and where they are.
