Do not buy Nulo from Amazon! My cat loves Nulo - I was buying it from my local pet store for about two months but I thought I'd save myself a trip one day and ordered this bag. Well, today I opened it and my cat refused to eat it. First, she sniffed it - the way cats do with their mouths open in disgust. Second, she literally turned the bowl over to spill the food and meowed at it. I think she was trying to say, "BACK FOUL DEMON!" But I don't speak cat, so who knows? Third, she she meowed at me ("HOW DARE YOU FOUL HUMAN?!") And fourth, the injury to the insult: she pawed the pellets around and made a mess. At this point, in the name of science and not having a hungry cat, I ran to my local pet shop to buy a 5 lb bag of the exact same flavor. Glory hallelujah, she began scarfing it. To further test my theory that the Amazon stuff was garbage, I mixed some of those pellets in with the store-bought Nulo. Lo and behold, she ate around the Amazon Nulo pellets and meowed at them when she finished the good stuff. At this point I knew the Amazon Nulo was garbage, but I took a close look at the pellets from each bag side-by-side. The Amazon bag's pellets are perfectly round and flat, versus what I bought from my local pet supply store, which are irregular/oblong. The store-bought Nulo is also darker than the Amazon Nulo. They both smell like feet. I did not do a taste test, so we'll just have to give my cat the benefit of the doubt on that score. Moral of the story: don't buy Nulo from Amazon unless you hate yourself and your cat.
