Don't use it or you loose it. And Belkin does not honor warranty.
I bought it mostly as a power strip for its pivoting design. which works nicely for my setup. But its protection is rather a curse than a blessing. I didn't realize it until it was likely overloaded today and electric protection really worked out. Then I figured out that there is no way to reset it or change any internal fuse or anything of this nature. So I have a dead device now. In my case I would rather have my power socket, which has resettable protection, or the breaker on the power line to provide protection and this device to be either also resettable (better) or, at least, have ability to turn of the protection.
I've just sent a request to manufacturer - waiting for their response - then might update depending on result.
Update:
Belkin rejected warranty request - they said that I overloaded it and this is not covered by warranty. It would be funny if it didn't look like a corporative fraud. They even did it in a very fraudulent way. After my initial request, where I stated that it failed probably because of overload, they responded with assurance to solve the issue and requested and collected all my info - name, phone, shipping address, copy of invoice, picture of device. Then they asked: "by the way what device were connected at that time" and after I replied - "such and such" - they finally emailed - "not covered - our apologies". Also they didn't even bother asking for actual wattage of the devices.
No more Belkin - I see many other guys complaining that they are not honoring their Warranty or Damage Coverage.
