Don't waste your money on this product. The batteries get way too hot in the charger, actually to hot to touch over 130 degrees F. I purchased the product because my 4 year old sons favorite toy takes Double AA's. We only had one successful use of the batteries and then on the 2nd charge attempt we noticed the charger stayed red for over 12 hours and the batteries were extremely hot, As a mechanic by trade I verified the temperature of the batteries with a digital infrared thermometer and was shocked when I saw the temperature reading of 130 F. I attempted to return them and based on a policy restriction I was unable to. ***Amazon do yourself a favor and discontinue selling this product as no product should get as hot as this unless it is designed to be a heating source like a hair dryer or a space heater. I'm going to contact customer service directly to see if they can notify the manufacture. I'm not going to loose sleep over the $10 that I am unable to get back but I am concerned about the need to have some safety information on the product in regards to the dangerous temperature of the product.
