DO NOT BUY THIS GPS DEVICE from Amazon. Apparently they received an undetermined amount of these GPS devices that are defective. I learned this after talking to a Garmin representative. The Garmin Rep told me the product is known to be defective yet neither Amazon nor Garmin did anything about it. Instead of pulling the GPS devices, they just keep selling them all while knowing there is an issue. The problem is the power supply cable will not work properly with the device which leaves many functions of the GPS non-operational. AGAIN DO NOT BUY THIS DEFECTIVE PRODUCT. Amazon should pull this product from their product line. The Garmin Rep also rattled off several other Garmin GPS devices with the same issue. SAD, SAD, SAD. I have always held Garmin in the highest regards, but this has changed my opinion of the company. Any company that knows they have a defective product out on the market and doesn't do anything about it is flat out wrong! So much for company integrity...Garmin and Amazon both are failing in that department.
