Bests & Worsts Reviews from Amazon

I'm really mad. I was looking forward to receiving this after reading a bunch of nice reviews. I received it today and it's cheap junk. There are no dovetail joint corners as shown (they're just glued together with straight, rough edges), the top doesn't have the nice rounded edges as shown, instead rough angular edges. The inside divider unit is misaligned so that some of the compartments are warped, and there are actual splintered edges all over this box - to the point that you can't wipe it down with a rag without it catching all over the place. I can literally run my hands along and get splintered or just pull loose pieces of wood slivers right off. I re-checked both the listing photo and other customer photos and it is absolutely NOT the same box. Then I noticed just in the last few days a couple of other brand new reviews saying the same thing, so they are obviously sending out cheap substitutes now instead of the nicer ones that the older reviews are referring to. I needed this as a display for an event so I didn't return it, I'll cut my losses and stick it in the cabinet until it breaks which won't be long, but it certainly is not the nice display box that is shown. I feel genuinely cheated. **Update July 31 2015** I kept getting emails from the seller saying the item was delivered but I didn't leave feedback, even though I posted this review on the very day I received the item. So I finally wrote back so they would stop emailing me and said I had in fact left a review and that I was not happy at all, that it was not as shown, no dovetail joints, splintering in places, etc and they wrote back and said: "Ok thanks". That's it, no "gee, sorry to hear that", no "that's not how they should be", nothing. Granted, I didn't ask for a refund, but they don't seem the least bit concerned with customer satisfaction so I felt it was important to add that to this review. The only thing worse than a poor quality product is a company who obviously doesn't care that you are unhappy.
