Is that the app needs to be on when the item is lost in order to be notified of where it was last. IT WILL NOT RUN IN THE BACKGROUND. Customer Service refused to accept the possibility that the Tile was malfunctioning. I live in a major metropolitan area and haven't heard a beep yet, seems fishy. Dropped my keys on a bike ride home, didn't find out till I got there. Went to check Tile, and IT SAID MY TILE WAS LAST SEEN 4 DAYS AGO. The one time I needed it, it failed. I chose Tile because I thought it was reliable, and attached it to my BMW and mail key, which together cost $200+ to replace!
