Don't be fooled by the stellar review like I did. After trying this on and off for 3+months, I finally gave up. Last straw on my back was the finger cut I got for cleaning the blade. The design is bad in a couple of ways. First, the rolling blade for cutting sticks only has two width (6mm and 9mm) and they are both way too wide to be useful. A 3mm one would be so much better. Second, if you are trying to avoid cutting yourself and use the handle instead -- you'll find that you have to piece your potato or carrots or whatever back onto the handle EVERY SINGLE CUT. It just doesn't hold it tight enough that once you slide off from the cutting surface, your potato will fall right off, no exception. But my biggest issue is that the design is so dumb that I doubt they even used the prototype themselves. Whoever developed the product, sorry I just have to be offensive here, is stupid. If you are trying to cut sticks again as an example, you hand goes millimeters above the dozen sharp blades first, then barely over the big V blade, and you do this multiple times. Cleaning the blades pushed it to a whole new level. If you are like me who hates mold growing on your kitchen gadget (who doesn't, raise your hand please?), you'd want to wash the roller blades after use, but these are a row of tightly spaced sharp blades 6 or 9mm apart, and it's so hard to even use a brush to reach all corners that there are always some spots you need to pay extra attention to. Whatever you use, you're basically dancing on the dozen blades and it's so easy to get a cut. I'm going back to my rusty old tool that I spent two dollars with... At least I can get the job done. Total disappointment. And you know what? I bet I'll receive a letter from customer service, offering to refund me the cost and then either hint or blatantly ask me to remove my bad review. That's how a rating of ~5 stars is born, my fellow shoppers. Please, at best you can, resist the temptation, and keep your integrity and the honest reviews.
