Purchased this step stool to climb in and out of my pickup bed. The stool is rated for 400 lbs, I weight 170 lbs. First time using this, I stepped up into my pickup bed and then back down. While stepping down the stool shattered, I fell to the ground and my leg was all cut up. No I did not jump down onto it, no I did not have any additional weight in my hands, just a simple step like I was going down stairs. I do not believe this stool is defective, fractured, or anything of the sort. This step stool is garbage, dangerous, and has a dishonest load rating.
