I remember the VORNADO FAN I "previously" owned. Best described as Excellent. Made right here in the USA. I didn't see the "made in China" anywhere on the description else I would not have purchased this Fan. I did some checking online I and found Vornado sold Company to China in August 2014. So far 79,000 Vornado electrical products have bee RECALLED. In my opinion AMAZON has lost it's credibility with me
