Propaganda Novel
I’ve read all the Allon novels and while they still entertain they are devolving into thinly veiled Jewish propaganda with each new release. There is hardly any involvement of the Office in the first 200 pages of the novel, it is only line after line about how the Jews have been persecuted and how everyone in the world is out to get the Jews. These novels needs to get back to being espionage novels and less propaganda. The fact that the main character and the supporting characters work for Israel’s Mossad presents enough opportunity to inform readers of the plight of Jews, the over-the-top propaganda is completely unnecessary and actually makes Allon look quite foolish, especially in his interactions with Luigi Donati.
