Reviews seemed on point for this so I picked it up as the price was more than right. Setup was a nightmare as most wifi networks, including mine, broadcast at 5ghz and this will only work with a 2.4ghz network. Most networks will broadcast both the 2.4ghz and the 5ghz signal at the same time. Some devices let you select which network you want to use, mine did not. In order for me to even get this setup I had to start the setup and then walk away from my home until my device switched itself over to 2.4ghz... Then I had to run back to show the camera the barcode... It worked, but took awhile to figure out a solution so I could set it up. The nightvision is in black and white and is probably the best feature of this device. Regular picture is pretty decent as well. There is a HUGE delay with the video so if you are wstching it isn't in "real time." It's a 3 to 5 second delay, which isn't horrible... But it is slightly annoying. Speaker isn't very good and when I speak through it the voice is HIGHLY distorted so not sure if I'll ever be able to use that feature as it would most likely startle and aggravate the dogs. Overall I guess you get what you pay for. I'm going to play with it a bit more and see what I can fix but as of now I wouldn't reccomend this device and would definitely purchase one that was a little more expensive. I'm not sure how this received so many positive reviews... If you read the reviews when you download the Petcube App you get a better idea of how this device actually functions.
