I tried three different sets of batteries, but this machine remained unresponsive. I have had bad luck with the four blood pressure machines I bought online. One lasted less than a year, one just over a year, another not quite two years, and this one didn't work at all. Sometimes it's wise to pay a little more for a reliable product. The blood pressure machine I just bought locally to replace it cost almost twice as much but worked fine right out of the box and came with a 5-year warranty.
