arrived with a veeery strange smell. Looks comfortable at first. UPDATE: it is junk, goes flat and does not hold up at all!!!!
comfy and ok looking but veeery strange smell. Someone had mentioned “textile smell” and I was ready for that, but thos smells faintly like ...well... puke. It has been a week and still there. I hate to think of the hassle and expense of a return plus my son is recovering from leg surgery so we will wait a little longer and hope for good luck.
The chair is generally comfortable, soft and cozy. The back does not come completely straight though and it is uncomfortable to have to partially reclined all the time. The leg rest also stops a few inches short of parallel to the floor.
It is a one motor chair so be aware that that means that you cannpt control the back independently from the leg rest. First the legs come all the way up and then the back starts to recline.
The color os a very neutral taupe which could blend with anything and the fabric is nice.
But the darn smell...hence the three stars.
UPDATE AFTER two months of use around two hours a day by an adult with a broken leg. As you cam see it looks ancient, the cushion has gone flat and is not comfortable any more. Would definitely NOT buy again. Stillsmells faintly pf puke. The dark spots you see in the picture are shadows, not dirt. There has been no mistreatment of this crummy piece of junk.
