Hello people. This product is not what it seems. It is rickety and the shelves are precarious. I have been trying to put it together last two days. No go. There is this flimsy plastic piece onto which each corner of each of the shelves must be malletted down. The problem is that the plastic bit doesnt hold its position, it keeps slipping down. Light hammering does not help, if you hit harder, all the other plastic bits feom the other three legs fly off, causing the shelf to collapse. In a stroke of luck, if you do manage to mallet in all the four sides, you will realize the shelving is lopsided or uneven, because the plastic bits will slip everytime you hit with a mallet. So, when you get down to correct it, trying to equalize positions, the whole shelf collapses down again and again. This is what has been happening the last two days. One time the rickety structure almost toppled over onto my washed dinnerware on the drain board. I am doubtful I am ever gonna put my microwave or toaster oven on this. Not even glass bottles of olive oil or salt and pepper shakers. It will not hold and can collapse anytime. In fact, I might just throw this into the recycling bin and stay with my good old reliable self assemble global company in blue- If you know who I am talking to. I am uncertain as to how these type of products end up getting such high ratings. It is incomprehensible. I guess you get what you pay for.
