I've had prime video for awhile and I get the fact that they just can't keep up with another vendor's output of movies and tv series.. I saw promos for this series from early 2017 when they purchased the rights.. They should really learn from the lessons here; don't promo something to death as 'gold' and give customers chicken feed. This is a 'poor man's' Homeland without the interesting story. You literally can find content like this anywhere on the landscape since the 'war' on terror began. Add in the virtue signaling, the social justice aspects, and the millennial blending.. it's just not a great show. The star of the show is a likable enough actor but he reminds me of a guy who is promoted within a company not because he's terribly smart, or handsome..he's just tall enough to fit the bill. He just doesn't really pull off a 'clever' or 'smart' character because I can't believe in him from the get go.. So as far as watching goes? I mean you can do worse, and certainly with a lack of real content here, give it a go.. Pretty sure you may come to the same conclusion. It's just ok. I only give it one star for the relentless promos.. it's probably 2 star.
