I purchased this Komputerbay 32gb class 10 MicroSDHC against my better judgement which was telling me to go with a known/proven brand. The product showed up on time, however when I opened the package I was instantly apprehensive. The first thing I noticed was the USB adapter looking like it had been used heavily before, and this was supposed to be a new product, right? So Looking at the MicroSDHC card and SD to MicroSDHC adapter, I was relieved to see that they looked brand new. Still skeptical, I ran some speed tests on the card to confirm that it was Class 10. After multiple tests, the fastest write speed was 7.5MB/sec but averaged 6.6MB/sec with read speeds were around 15MB/sec average. Needless to say, I was disappointed. I would like to note that it was actually 32gb capacitty... I gave them a chance to redeem themselves and requested a replacement card. I contacted them with my complaint, and they responded with some instructions to send it back for testing/replacement. After paying $15 out of pocket for "trackable shipping" (a requirement of their process), I had the great pleasure of waiting a couple of weeks for them to email me that the replacement would be sent back to me within 3 business days. Excuse my sarcasm.. I opened the package to find the same used- looking USB adapter that was sent to me in the first place! By this point I had zero faith that this card would write/read at Class 10 speeds, so I tested again to confirm. After multiple tests on the replacement I found that the card they sent back wouldn't write faster than 6.1MB/sec which is worse than the first card they sent me! REALLY?? You have got to be kidding me! They sent me used parts twice, then 2 cards that perform far below what I purchased in the first place??? What a complete JOKE!! I am amazed that the company is still in business. All in all, their product isn't what they say it is, and their customer service is crap. The card is currently on the way back for a refund, and I will never buy from them again. DO NOT BUY FROM KOMPUTERBAY, unless of course, you enjoy getting ripped off.
