Honestly what a piece of trash. I bought this because it had so many positive reviews, but it only lasted about ten minutes before it was being put back into the box for return. The white noise audio is on a four second loop, with a low-toned beeping to signal the end of every loop. It literally goes "beep-beep-beep-BEEPBEEP" every four seconds. The beeping is more noticeable at the higher decibel white noise setting, which is what I prefer to sleep with. I know I'm very sensitive to noise... hence the need for a white noise device! Therefore this device is impossible to sleep to.
