Bests & Worsts Reviews from Amazon

Apparently they have changed the design of these bits since I bought my first set locally awhile back after I watched a u tube video review by Project Farm that tested various drill bit sets. These are now called black and gold and don't even match the photograph of the amazon listing because as of today, 7/19, the set I just rec'd today is very little black with mostly covered by an unidentified gold film/substance on the outside of the bits. The only thing black oxide for sure is the inner surfaces of the flutes. The image shown in the listing above (as of today anyways) is still the ALL black drills, not the ones with the outer gold coating that I rec'd. If I had known this I would not have ordered these. I've asked the Project Farm guy to amend his video review to retest this new design before he continues to rate the DWA1184 set so highly on his channel. I'm afraid what has happened is that as another u tuber favorite of mine AvE once said that after DeWalts product gained fame for being such good quality the corporate types got their genius brains together and said "Hmmm, how can we increase our profit margin on this item now that it's so popular....I know! Lets decrease manufacturing costs!"
