While the product is certainly innovative, it truly doesn’t work all that well. A Dutch Oven type pot which has small circular handles on each side accepts this lid fine. Any pan with one long handle, as most pans have is not suitable for use with this lid. The outer rim of the lid is so large that the pan’s handle actually dislodges the lid’s ability to fully cover the pan. All in all: a good idea that just doesn’t work. Very disappointing.
