Perhaps these briefs might merit two and a half stars on quality, but they only earn the lowest rating owing to the bait and switch that Hanes has foisted against the consumer. Being sensate, I am willing to pay more for comfort, even more than I am for style, especially for my skivies which are rarely seen outside my dressing room. I have been pleased with the Hanes ComfortSoft briefs previously purchased. They were soft, thick and comfortable. My recent purchase however is marred by the change. The stye is altered, the band in narrower, the fit is less fitting of my manliness, and the fabric is thinner than the same style of briefs I have have in my drawer, which have been washed and worn and washed and worn for two years or more. I had made the new purchase to replace old ones. but the old are better than the new, We all realize that cost go up, that inflation continues but the wallmartz of the world insists that prices from their suppliers must go down. This does not serve the consumer, only wallmartzes. Apparently Hanes has maintained price and cut down quality of the material used. The cotton is no long soft, absorbent, and comfortable.
