Turmeric is valuable and these are good quality. BUT before you start giving them to your dog you need important information that I don’t see on the label. Dogs’ stomachs can be sensitive to starting turmeric. For that reason you should start them off at 1/5 the recommended dose. If your dog should take 2 tabs you will give less than 1/2 tab to start. Next day give less than 1/2 tab in the morning and the same 12 hours later. Next day go up to a little over 1/2 tab in am and pm. Third day you are at 1 tab. Continue gradual increases until you reach the recommended dose. If your dog reacts to an increase, back off on the dose and allow more time for your dog to adjust. This will greatly reduce the risk your dog will vomit up the pills. Some just need to get their tummies used to turmeric. If your dog does throw up while you’re at work, be aware that turmeric- laden vomit will stain your linoleum. This is a good product and important supplement. Starting off right should help sensitive dogs use it.
