ASCORBIC ACID, unknown how much actually is derived from the Acerola itself. Kinda misleading...
I found this product to be a bit misleading. What you are getting here is "Ascorbic Acid" although it's unclear from the packaging how much comes from synthetic Ascorbic Acid, corn, or the Acerola Cherry. The Acerola ingredient is added second on the ingredient list, after the Ascorbic acid. I wish they would indicate somewhere on the bottle how many mg of vitamin C you're getting from the Acerola itself, but they don't. Therefore the % of the total vitamin C listed from the Acerola Cherry is unclear.
If you are looking for synthetic vitamin C as Ascorbic acid, with Acerola added, this is your product. If you are looking for a plant based, whole food type extract (or complex) to provide your vitamin C, like I was, this doesn't look like the one.
Nice customer service though.
