I mostly cook with cast iron and stainless steel. I care about cooking with safe cookware for my children. However, I still wanted pans that I could cook eggs and french toast on. I settled on this thinking I had found the best option out there. And even as I was using it the first time and so pleased with how the french toast turned out (using a nylon spatula), I went to clean it and a small part of the coating peeled off. First use. On a $40 pan. I emailed the company and they said it's still safe to use but I could return it via Amazon, but I figured I'd write a review for those of you considering it. I don't expect to spend $40 on a pan only for it to get ruined the first time I cook gently with it!
