Bests & Worsts Reviews from Amazon

Today I discovered that my prior top-rated critical review of this item had been deleted at some point, without notification. I purchased these headphones on Amazon and initially wrote a very positive, detailed review. I subsequently updated my review when these headphones malfunctioned. The facts: These headphones were great when I purchased them. The sound quality was decent, and noise reduction worked well. The headphones subsequently malfunctioned, resulting in an extremely loud, painful feedback squeal, which damaged my hearing. My ears rang for days. Out of the blue, the manufacturer sent a replacement, but I threw them out. My reviews are descriptive, factual and without any intent other than to share my personal experience about the products I purchase on Amazon. I am at a loss to understand why my review was deleted. Amazon - care to explain?
