This item leaves a number of things to desire. Most concerning is its lack of stability/balance. You, absolutely, cannot take your eye off your child while he or she is using this step. Leaning too far in one direction or jumping around (as toddlers are known to do) can easily tip this unit over. So there’s the danger of your child falling from a height, which creates some irony in that this item becomes a hazzard rather than a convenience... Also - my little girl is an average size 2.5 year old and she has to struggle to squirm her way through the opening. Perhaps most disappointing is the price. It was priced at 89.99 when I purchased it and as I’m writing this, Amazon is listing it at 99.99. It’s only worth about $40...
