I got this for my Maine Coon. He is polydactyl. Did not occur to me that his paws would never fit! Now he is depressed and questioning his being differently abled. Tension is mounting between him and my “normal” toed kitty (despite her inability to remove food even though her paws fit). He spends most of his days on the internet looking at perfect, photoshopped celebrity cat paws. He is demanding mittens. All I ever wanted was for him to feel confident in his own fur. But this has set us back. His therapy group is mostly dominated by cats with clipped ears, so he isn’t getting the support he needs.
