I rebuild old mowers and give them away to people in need. I ordered 10 Briggs and Stratton 491588S Air Filters. The ad clearly says "by Briggs and Stratton". The picture in the ad clearly has the B&S logo. However, what Interstate Supplies and Services shipped was a "knock off" and not the Geniune B&S Part. It comes in a package marked "Proven Part" "Made in China". The Air Filters I received look exactly like the Briggs Part. I wanted the Genuine B&S Filter because I know they are reliable which is important when I give a mower to someone. I have no idea how these will perform. Maybe they will be OK, maybe not. However, the ad and picture are misleading. I do not mind buying off-brand parts when I am told in advance. What I do mind is being part of a "bait and switch" scam. So, if you are dealing with Interstate Supplies and Services, you may or may not get exactly what you order. [...]
