Inaccurate
I put this scale to a simple test to ensure accuracy. Put two 30 lbs dumbbells and the scale did show 63.2, next time it would show 61.2, then 62.6 and so on. See pictures below for examples. Individually if I would put only one on they would go from 30.6 to anything up to 32.2 showing different weight each time. My other scale, Bauer, which is a simple scale purchased years ago would show consistent weight for both or either one each time. I am not endorsing Beuer here. The difference between these two scales was about 1 to 2.6 lbs with the old scale showing lower weight all the time. For disclosure, each time after the test I waited for the scale to shut down before I tested it again. All the testing was completed within the 30 minutes time frame. Again, my other scale was consistently showing the same weight, no matter how many times I tested it. Unrelated to this particular scale, what I have realized after the purchase was that if you are looking to track your results, (especially the BMI, fat percentage, water, etc) it does help to have a scale with the Bluetooth connection and an application so each result can be recorded and then retrieved to review trends over time. This scale does not have that feature, I know the same manufacturer offers the app connectivity on other models. When purchasing a scale with an app it is worthwhile to check the app interface first before the purchase to ensure that you like the app layout and features. I will be getting a different scale from a different manufacturer as based on my experience with inaccuracy of this model.
