I am unsure exactly how to review this (because i'm a tad disappointed) but I will give it the college try. I ordered this because I have dogs and wanted to clean up my rugs. In essence this does clean up rugs pretty well, however you need to put in some "elbow" grease on sweeping rugs. Therein lies the problem, on the very first day that yellow metal covering cracked. While I will say that the under shaft didn't break, I am wondering if it is weak. It doesn't seem like the under shaft is broken but I feel that because you have to use elbow grease to really get pet hairs out of rugs that this product may break on you. It was $21.00 so I'm personally not gonna go crazy and demand refunds because that seems like a bit of effort but I probably wouldn't order this again. I'd rather pay more and get a sturdy product that knows it takes some elbow grease to sweep up dog hairs and that they will make a sturdier product. (sorry about imperfect grammar/sentences etc. you get the gist) UPDATE: Bought on Jan 21 2018. Shaft broke Feb 13th 2018. The shaft cannot take the pressure needed to sweep up a rug with pet hair. There is a silver lining. Since the head unscrews, i was able to screw on to an old broom shaft I bought from my local grocery store.
