This item does not seem to be bad in itself. But it is misrepresented on the website and on the box. The website and box state 8in diameter. The website states 4 cup capacity (the box does not state capacity at all, only diameter) The actual measurements are: 7in exterior diameter (which does not matter for capacity, the interior diameter is only 5.25in) and 2.6 cups capacity. I am giving it one star for the reason of misleading the buyer. I am returning this item - thank you Amazon for making it relatively easy.
