These sandals arrived on my door step less than two months ago and I really wanted to love them. I love the look and how light they are on one's foot. However, there are several downsides to this sandal. 1. Although the straps are quite comfortable and very adjustable this sandal is not particularly comfortable. It is completely flat (which I knew while clicking the "buy" button) but not that flexible at first. They can take a while before you feel like you are walking on anything other than cardboard. That said, I did get used to it. 2. This is gross, but I would have liked to know before purchasing: the "leatherette" footbed can get slippery if your feet get sweaty on hot days and as a result a bit slippery if your foot isn't completely snug. 3. While dealing with both points one and two, I got some quite uncomfortable blisters. Granted it could be that I walk funny and don't even know it, but I don't have this issue with other sandals. Aside from these complaints I was still able to wear them a bit, on hot days that I didn't plan to walk more than a few blocks at a time. But my final disappointment? I have not worn them everyday in the 49 days I've owned them, but already the right sandal is falling apart. It's a pathetic complaint, even that of a masochist because I just outlined how much I don't like the shoe, but they could have at least lasted longer! The right shoe is falling apart (from the tip of the toe to half way through the arch) and it doesn't seem to be worth the effort of gluing together.
