This is just three months old. Very little use as we have a bigger one we use all the time. This was just heating a bagel and it was not in very long. If my grandson was in front of it the glass would have hit him in the face as the glass also blew all over the kitchen floor. It blew the handle right off. I have always had great items from Black and Decker and never have I had anything like this just blow out. This is a HUGE safty issue!!
