Read all of the many, many reviews describing how the velcro deteriorates and believe them - I wish I had. Such a disappointment! I have worn sleep masks every night for as long as I can remember, and this one was a game changer - it's soft, completely blocks the light, and covers the ears for an extra-peaceful bonus. It was amazing for about the first month, and then the velcro basically stop adhering. It went from being what one reviewer called "aggressively" sticky (true!), to barely working in just over a month. It's at the point now that it's unusable, which is extremely disappointing considering the cost of this item. An an entirely different note, I am a woman and have a small head (it's hard to find hats that fit) and I did not have a problem with this mask fitting me and staying in place - when the velcro was working.
