I was very interested in reading this story. I have to tell you, it was terrible. Ok - spoilers here. They meet and fell in love 20 years ago but things happened to break them apart. Ok, understandable. 20 years later, she is divorced, in foreclosure, about to lose her job... Yeah, I get it, life happens. Through her circumstances, he comes back into her life, is a great guy, helps her out a lot. Tells her up front that he can't go into a relationship with her because she hurt him all those years ago. Gee, an honest guy. What does she do? She expects that after all these years, he would have waited for her, saved himself for her {even though she left him for another guy, married him and had that man's child}. Really??? And then her and her BFF, decide that just around a month from knowing him again - let's trick him and make him jealous so he will want her again! Story about the great guy - wonderful! Her and her friend... Can we say acting like middle school here. I am sorry, I try not to write bad reviews but this book was not a romance in my opinion.
