Here is what you can find on the web when you search what is neem oil or how it works: "Azadirachtin is the most active component for repelling and killing pests and can be extracted from neem oil. The portion left over is called clarified hydrophobic neem oil." (THat's the main ingredient of this product. They took away the main component for pesticide and this thing doesn't work! I bought it twice and I have not seen much results. I guess I am slow to pick up. One reason is that I had used neem oil before--real one I guess--with excellent results, so I was thinking I just had to re-apply, and re-apply, and re-apply... No matter how many times you will apply it, it does not contain Azadirachtin so it will not kill insects with the product. You might be able to drown them if you lay it thick! If you're looking for something to kill insects, buy the real neem oil. If you're looking for something to make the leaves shiny and smelly, that'll work!
