WARNING FOR FIRST TIME BATH SHOWER CHAIR USERS: (Like myself) If you are bathing using this chair I thought that a person would sit on this chair naked as a jaybird and bathe typical using some kind of soap. My very first time I earned a very very good lesson. WHEN USING SOAP AND THIS SEAT if you are not putting anything ontop of the seat that soap is going to make this so slippery it can have you slidding off before you even know it. I was a couple inches away from sliding off the front of this chair and tried to pull myself back onto it and had a very hard time because my hands were soapy and this plastic is so slippery when you have soap on it that I literally had to push myself further back on the seat using my legs to push me back onto the seat. I was so scared and very close to falling right smack down into the bathtub. The only way that I can see how I can avoid this problem is to put a hand towel on the seat and sit on that thinking that maybe it will prevent me from siding all over it. I have been waiting to see if anyone else would comment about this seat being slippery when you start using the soap but have not and it makes me wonder am I the only one out here that doesn't know you should always put a towel or something on the seat first before bathing. Should be a 'WARNING LABEL' telling you this and I saw nothing to that effect. The ONLY reason i gave it 1 star is because at least i thin it is sturdy but then again will it hold up years down the road and i guess if i keep the chair i'll eventually know the answer to that question as well.
