Will Spend a fortune buying the "storage" ingredients
I like the concept of this book. I can even overlook the amateurish printed pages and $15 price. But what makes this recipe book a bit hard-to-like for me is that I have NORMAL storage items. With my normal storage items, I can make 13 of the 30 recipes. The other recipes call for things like Shortening Powder, Sour Cream Powder, Tomato Powder, Cheddar Cheese Powder, Taco TVP, Sausage TVP, Beef TVP, Pepperoni TVP, Chicken Gravy Powder, Brown Gravy Mix, Celery flakes, Butter Powder, Buttermilk Powder, Egg Powder, Gluten Flour, and Refried Bean Flakes. I looked on a few websites to price this stuff and it would cost way too much to buy #10 cans or mylar bags of these ingredients to make the other 17 recipes. So, unless your food pantry regularly contains TVPs and stuff like shortening powder...its just not a cost effective way of preparing.
