Absolute garbage WiFi. We bought two Fire HD 10s and both have insufferable WiFi connection issues regardless of location. Both tablets constantly lose their connection and require a reboot to reconnect. This happens even within five feet of the router. No other devices in our home have this issue, so it’s entirely an issue with these tablets, and since both tablets experience the same issues it’s unlikely that we received two defective devices by chance. The Amazon App Store is also very limited in its offerings, so getting apps from other sources requires a decent amount of finagling. If you’re looking for a simple, entry-level tablet this isn’t it unless you’re okay with a small offering of apps or have the patience to follow online tutorials for sideloading apps. I’ll give it the benefit of the doubt and say that since we live in an apartment the poor connection may be due to signal competition, but even still we don’t experience these issues with any other wireless devices so that excuse doesn’t hold much clout. I can’t even stay connected long enough to write this review so I’m using my phone instead, which is in the same location as the tablet, yet has no connection issues. We have an Echo and a FireStick and neither have issues so it isn’t like Amazon releases cheap/bad products, but holy crap are these tablets worthless junk.
