I am outraged!
I honestly cannot this book was published. It does not even remotely touch on the horrible inequities, injustice, torture and racism of slavery. Instead, we are made to believe that this proud, happy slave enjoyed his servitude and had no bigger issues that finding sugar to make a birthday cake. Unbelievable!!!
