Not really possible to get anything but weak, pathetic coffee from this thing. It actually looks like tea (see photo). The problem is the percolating cycle shuts off once the coffee hits a certain temp, and this is always before it has percolated enough to extract any kind of body/flavor. So you have very dilute coffee. There's no way to get it to restart and percolate more, or to get it to extract more before shutting off. I tried everything...different amounts of grounds, different amounts of water, preground coffee, homeground beans, hot water, water with ice cubes. The only way to make the coffee stronger is cooling it all the way down, replacing fresh grounds in it and re-percolating the coffee a second time. And for anyone new to percolators, they aren't a great choice for making daily coffee imo. Every use means rinsing and cleaning up grounds reassembling, etc. And in this one's case you don't have any control over the coffee you're getting.
